Terms of Use

Last updated: 17th October 2026

1. About these terms

These terms apply when you use fifunwaikobayofertilitylawyer.com (the “Website”), including its booking and community features. By using the Website you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

The Website is run by The Fertility Lawyers Hub, which trades as Fifunwa the Fertility Lawyer (“we”, “us” or “our”). You can reach us at 3 Aiyenuro Crescent Ogudu, Lagos, hello@fifunwaikobayofertilitylawyer.com or +2348038235757.

2. General information, not legal advice

The content on the Website, including the FAQ and the descriptions of our services, is general information about fertility and family-building law in Nigeria. It is not legal advice for your situation, and you should not rely on it as if it were. The law changes, and the right answer often depends on your circumstances. Please get advice that is specific to you before you act.

3. No lawyer-client relationship from using the Website

Visiting the Website, sending us a message, joining the community or following our social media pages does not create a lawyer-client relationship.

A booked consultation is a one-off advisory session limited to the questions discussed in it. We only act for you on an ongoing matter, such as drafting or negotiating an agreement or representing you, once we have agreed to do so in writing and you have received our terms of engagement.

4. Booking a consultation and paying

  • You book and pay through Selar. Selar processes the payment, and its own terms and privacy policy apply to that part of the process.
  • The session options, lengths and fees are shown on the booking page at the time you book.
  • Sessions are held by Zoom.
  • We give advice based on what you tell us. Please make sure the information you give is accurate and complete, because our advice depends on it.

5. No guarantees

We cannot guarantee conception, a successful treatment cycle, a live birth, the success of a surrogacy or donation arrangement, or the outcome of any court or regulatory process. What we can do is help you understand the legal position, review documents and protect your interests, so you can make informed decisions.

6. Please do not send sensitive details before booking

Please do not put health, family, financial or other sensitive details in the contact form, in comments, in social media messages or in the community group. When you book a consultation, you will be asked to complete a confidential intake form, and that is where we collect the information we need.

7. Using the Website

You agree not to:

  • use the Website for anything unlawful or in a way that could harm it or other users
  • try to get into parts of the Website, our accounts or our systems that you are not meant to access
  • copy or collect content from the Website automatically, or introduce viruses or harmful code
  • pretend to be someone else, or use the Website to promote your own products or services to others

8. The community group

The community group on WhatsApp is open to people who want to stay informed about fertility law and family building. By joining, you agree to:

  • be respectful, and not to harass or judge other members
  • keep your own and other people’s personal case details out of the group
  • not sell or promote products or services without permission
  • understand that nothing said in the group, by us or by other members, is legal advice

Please remember that other members may be able to see your name and phone number, depending on your WhatsApp settings, and that we cannot control what members do with information shared in the group. We may remove anyone who breaks these rules. You can leave the group at any time.

9. Our content and trademark

The text, logo, photographs, design and other content on the Website belong to us or are used with permission. “Fifunwa the Fertility Lawyer” is a registered trademark. You may not copy, republish or use our content commercially without our written permission.

10. Links and third-party platforms

The Website links to other services, including Selar, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube. We do not control those platforms and are not responsible for their content, terms or privacy practices.

11. Limits on our responsibility

We take care to keep the Website accurate and up to date, but we cannot promise that it is free of errors, always available or current with every change in the law. The Website is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for loss that results from relying on the general information on the Website, from interruptions to it, or from third-party platforms. Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility that cannot lawfully be limited.

12. Privacy

How we collect and use your personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. If you keep using the Website after a change, you accept the updated terms.
